Meet the artist...
Owner of White Lies Beauty since 1997, Manon Payette has been working as an independent dermagraphy consultant since 2003. Manon carries over 18 years experience in the healthcare environment and she is certified in skin care, makeup artistry, permanent makeup application and paramedical tattooing.
Manon is a perfectionnist and she takes pride in keeping current with the latest products and techniques of her trade by attending esthetics and permanent makeup seminars on a regular basis in Montreal, Toronto and the United States.
Following some advanced training in Vancouver, Manon has developed her own feather strokes technique to achieve the most natural “3-D eyebrows”. Her keen interest in morphology allows her to create the perfect brow shape to enhance each client’s natural features. The topical anaesthetics Manon uses for eyeliner application is approved for opththalmic procedures and her technique has been proven to be the safest.
White Lies has been inspected and approved by the City of Ottawa and Manon is highly recommended by plastic surgery professionals and cosmetologists who refer clients to her on a regular basis for both cosmetics and paramedical procedures.

Choosing the right specialist...
Proper, formal training by a certified institution is the starting point; you should consider years of experience --- active experience --- combined with continued training. Over 20 years' experience, doesn't mean much if the technician is not up to date in her training, equipment and techniques. Permanent makeup has evolved and the old ways of providing permanent makeup services with "tattoo machines and tattoo ink" are now things of the past.
Extensive training in morphology and a certification in professional makeup artistry gave Manon that extra edge. It is one thing to know how to apply permanent pigments but it is far more important to know where to place these pigments!
